FAQ
Installation & Site Requirements
A reinforced concrete slab with a minimum thickness of 150 mm is generally required. The concrete must be level, structurally sound and suitable for the hoist anchors. Final requirements should be confirmed by the installer before installation.
The required ceiling height depends on the hoist model. For example, the 4.5T hoist has an overall height of approximately 3,900 mm. We recommend allowing additional clearance above the hoist and considering the height of the vehicle when raised. Always confirm your available ceiling height before ordering.
Yes. A 2-post hoist relies heavily on a suitable reinforced concrete slab because the columns are anchored directly into the floor. A 4-post hoist distributes the vehicle’s weight across four columns, although anchoring and slab requirements still depend on the specific model and installation instructions.
TTN Industrial hoists should be installed in a covered, dry and weather-protected area. Rain, direct sunlight, excessive moisture and harsh outdoor conditions may damage electrical and hydraulic components and could affect warranty coverage.
